Trying not to make a spoiler, but I expected a different result!

Anyone recognise those kids on the fence at minute 6:33?

It would be good, wouldn't it? - better than fucking Mrs Brown anyway - but you know they would only show the then 'Big 5' and today's top hitters, wouldn't they? Football has worked itself into an elite mire I doubt it can ever get out of.

Reel history of West Ham has some great clips going back to the 1930 and the manic 1923 final.

Love the Big Match and random classic West Ham performances on Youtube. someone posted a West Ham v Yids from the 60s I think 3-2 with budgie scoring a hatrick. Sublime football and the commentators do nothing but admire and praise West Ham. It is crazy what we have become compared to the players and history we have had.

Those classic commentators and games just on youtube, Canning Town Len and knowing our U23s are good, keep me going when West Ham play shit nowadays and employ Moyes fucking twice.

1975 was the first time i saw us win anything. From Wembley to Canning Town, Huntingdon Arms for a knees up. Met my step dad that night as well.

A selection of the matches from the mid 70’s would lift the nation.
1973/4 Man Utd relegated
1974/5 Chelsea relegated
1976/7 Spurs relegated

If the BBC had any balls they would replace Match of the Day with classics from the 60s, 70s & 80s and remind people that football existed before 1992.
